Corona Receives First Ever Recycling Compactor
The Village of Corona residents will now recycle cardboard in Lincoln County’s first green automated recycling compactor. The new compactor, located at the Corona waste convenience site adjacent to the rail road tracks across from Village Hall will cut collection and transportation costs significantly, according to Lincoln County Solid Waste Supervisor Debra Ingle. “Rapidly rising transportation costs are crippling existing rates in the solid waste business” stated Ingle.
